I have used the principles of “Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight” by Joel Marion for a few weeks. I feel good, have energy, and have not felt at all deprived.
One of the focuses of the diet is intermittent fasting (IF). “Physically, IF helps drain your muscles and liver of glycogen so that your body is then forced to burn fat for fuel. Mentally, it can break you of bad emotional habits or negative neuro-associations you may have with food and provide you with newfound energy and focus.” In addition to naturally boosting the fat-burning hormones, intermittent fasting also helps regulate insulin (very important to me) and ghrelin (the hunger hormone).
We’ve been traditionally taught to avoid carbs, have an early dinner, and never eat before bed. But the fact is, the latest scientific research shows us this earlier model is not the most ideal. Based on surprising science, “Always Eat After 7 PM” debunks popular diet myths and offers an easy-to-follow diet that accelerates fat-burning and allows you to indulge in your most intense food cravings: Eating the majority of your calories at night.
It takes time to break years of bad habits and replace them with good. While I have not followed the diet perfectly, with the tools I have found in “Always Eat After 7 PM”, I am confident that I can change my eating habits to reach my goals and keep up that healthy lifestyle successfully.
“Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks – While Burning Fat Overnight” by Joel Marion is now available for purchase. Learn more about the book and how to purchase it here.

We usually always eat late in the evenings, just because that’s what fits with our lifestyle. I’ll have to look at your other posts to see the details of this diet and how I can maximize our late eating habits for better health…thanks!
I will have to look into this! This seems interesting!
Wow thanks for sharing. It seems like a lot of this is backed in solid research, and worth looking into!

Intermittent fasting has really helped me lose and continue to maintain my weight and lower my mile times. So many are sharing this book – I may need to get it to see if there is anything else I can learn!
I am doing this too! I love the loaded baked potato.
