We spent two days at Lake Ivie in Millersville, Texas. We checked in at the Concho Marina Park store, which was also a restaurant.

There are free campsites on the lake(once you pay the park access fee of $5 per day), as well as a paid RV park with a bathhouse. We were desperate for a real shower, so we asked if it was available for everyone or just the RV park. The owner told us it was strictly for the RV park, but she would let us shower for a minimal cost since the park was not busy.

While we have not been eating at restaurants often on this trip, we decided to order breakfast from the restaurant before leaving the lake because she was so kind to us. As we are not comfortable eating in restaurants yet, we ordered our to-go food and ate in the truck.

The menu is not extensive, offering simple breakfast items like eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast. They have a Trash Pile, with scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, and cheese, all mixed up. There is a half-sized portion available as well. The restaurant also offers omelets, breakfast burritos, pancakes, and biscuits, with or without gravy.

Once we ordered our food, it was ready in about ten minutes. I picked up our self-serve coffee, and we were ready to eat.

I ordered one biscuit with gravy and an over-medium egg. The gravy was delicious, as was the perfectly cooked egg.
Chris had two over-medium eggs, again perfectly cooked, with bacon and hash browns. The hash browns were golden brown and crispy outside but fluffy inside.

Breakfast was simple, delicious, and a great start to our day. Both the cashier and the cook were cheerful and friendly. I let the cashier know we had finished off the pot. The coffee was good, but she didn’t charge us for it because, in her opinion, it was not fresh enough.

Cost for two entrees $9.04.
