Rotary Park Disc Golf Course
Before leaving West Virginia, we played Rotary Park Disc Golf Course in Huntington. It was lovely to have the extra time with friends before continuing our trip.
Wonderland Disc Golf Course
Wonderland was a fun course to play. There are quite a few spots where playing it safe is the better option, but the guys could not resist going for it.
Fayette County Park Disc Golf Course
Fayette County Park Disc Golf Course was big, playing through fields and in the woods, with water hazards on three holes.
Widefield Disc Golf Course
I attempted to throw between the trees to drop my disc into the basket. As usual for me, my throw was a little off. Disappointed by the throw, I became elated as I watched the disc hit the tree and then bounce into the basket.
Peaks View Park Disc Golf Course
We first discovered Peaks View Park Disc Golf Course seven years ago. We were in Lynchburg to tour Liberty University as part of Nick's college search. We decided to check out the disc golf courses while we were there. After playing the course at Liberty (a very uphill course) we ventured across town as daylight dwindled to play at Peaks View Park. We enjoyed the course so much that we went back and played again the next day.
