With smartphones becoming part of our everyday lives, I have always been concerned about their cleanliness. With the onset of Covid, I became even more careful about where I put my phone. Wiping it down with disinfecting wipes became a regular habit. A combination of four UV-C lamps and an inner chamber covered in titanium dioxide destroys 99.99% of surface viruses and bacteria. Intertek and the Environmental Protection Agency have certified the Mundus Pro as a safe and effective surface sanitizer.
The device is simple to use. Open the cover, place your phone (it holds two) or whatever small items you would like into the tray, close the lid, and push the button. A ring light, divided into four quadrants, blinks to show the progress of the eight-minute sterilization process. If you must open the lid before the cycle finishes, the lights automatically shut off to protect your eyes.
When the lid is closed, the top of the device is a wireless charging station, quickly charging two phones simultaneously. There is a USB-A quick charge port as well for other devices.
